Gambeson um 1250 nach Vorlage aus der Maciejowski Bibel. Der Gambeson hat einen hohen und festen Stehkragen. Dadurch dass er keine Öffnungen hat, weder an der Vorder- noch an der Rückseite gibt es keine Schwachstellen und der Gambeson ist hervorragend für Schau- und Freikampf geeignet.

Tim Render I've been looking for an affordable 13th-century gambeson and this one has convinced me. The cut fits the time and the padding is sufficient for light contact sparring. Up close it's evident that the material is cotton instead of linen, but the difference is almost unnoticeable from a distance. One should not hesitate to take a bigger size than one would normally do. Mine was too tight around the chest and elbows. I'll order a bigger size once they are available again.
